CPF party

CPF party for cheras youth was held on Saturday, November 22, 2008.

For the very first time, almost everyone from teenFORCE joined. There was a big number of CCC youth there and we were really great to see that ;).

The party started at 3pm with IceBreak. We were asked to know atleast 5 people from the other churches and remember their name, school, age and which church were they from.

After everybody walked around and knew new people, the host Nicholas started to look for people who didnt have 5 names. And 3 youth from teenFORCE were caught.

Yeap, this was the punishment. Nicholas put ketchup on thier right hand, asked them to stand in a circle, and they needed to lick the ketchup on the hand of the one who was standing beside them clean. For conclusion, pity Chiow Er, Mun Chun and Sook Peng, and also some other people from different churches needed to lick a hand, and also got licked.

After IceBreaking, we had a wondeful time worshipping the Lord.


And now, they are giving out 2 sony ericsson phones for 2 people who had the most names :D (remember the icebreak? the know-5-new-friends game). Sook Shian, yes me, went out to give a try and gave 6 names.

3 people went infront to try, but there were only 2 phones, so they chose the winner according to the cheers they had.


CCC youth's cheers and claps were the loudest! So yea thankyou church! I got the phone :D.

A pastor then came infront to preach. If I'm not mistaken, his name is Pastor Daniel. He is still very young and is from America I think. Now he is living in Malaysia :). He was a drug dealer but Jesus saved his life.

On that day, many lives were changed. Youth prayed and weeped at the altar, and from that day onwards, the Pastor said we're not going to have a normal life :). We're all special and different.

These are some notes made on that day when Pastor Daniel was preaching.

-Jesus is the road, the way and the light.
-God doesn't want to be a part time God.
-Dont look for shortcuts to God.
-Songs are going to come and go, things are going to fade out, but the word of God will never go away.
-Our God is the God of action and reality.
-Search God with Joy and Enthusiasm.

and this is my favourite line that he said-

When you show up, Jesus shows up.

CPF party was great, I could really feel that Holy Spirit was with us, infact, HolySpirit IS with us all the time :). I'm looking forward for the next party!

Ohya we actually gt free dinner and the nuggets were delicious! hahaha.

So youth out there, come and join us next time! I'm sure you will have a great time and you will never regret that you joined. And teenFORCE&TheWay, bring new friends along too! :D
